THE BIMBI FOUNDATION 

Our Ghanaian NGO was founded in January 2009. The objective is to build a Community Center in Adoteiman.

Bimbi means strength or courage.

Our symbol is an Adinkra Symbol and represents the change that we want to achieve. We want to improve the situation of the needy people, involving them in social and cultural projects. We consider ourselves not as entertainers but as communicators. We bring a message of peace, love, hope, understanding and justice.

Currently we have started the construction of the foundation of the Community Center in the village Adoteiman (northern Accra). The Community Center will provide medical first-aid material, mosquito nets for malaria and contraceptives for AIDS.

The Center will be a meeting point for children and young people who want to develop their art, dance, drum and sport skills. 

Besides that we want to give young European people the chance to do volunteer work in the villages and schools. We will also organize journeys for people who want to get in touch with the real African life.
